I have Outlook 2010 version 14.0.6023.1000 32bit installed on Win 7 Ultimate. Everything is up-to-date. Outlook will not download pictures, even though I have unticked the relevant sections in Trust Center about automatically downloading pictures. Outlook
is set to send emails in HTML format. I don't know what to do to enable automatic downloads and would appreciate any suggestions.

Can 0x80040115 be a benign Outlook error?
Have multiple PCs connecting Outlook to Comcast Exchange server, all but one are working fine. But one PC can send and receive mail fine every time. But when (and only when) the "Send/Receive" button is pressed in the toolbar, the send and receive
happen okay but error message 0x80040115 "The connection to the Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action." Repeating: this message only happens when the Send/Receive button is pressed, and yet the
mail comes and goes successfully.
All mail seems to be coming and going just fine. There just is this message on a single PC. Is this a benign error, or is something being lost?
All PCs (ones that don't get this error and the single one that does have the following configuration:
Connecting to Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 SP1 8.1.375.1

Outlook 2007/Exchange 2003 Error 0x8004011D
Hi, I have found this a number of times in the forum but not my exact problem.
I have tried 'ipconfig/flush /dns' if hasn't helped. When sending mail it only appears to work but the mail does not get the the recepient. then the above error appears. If I try a new Profile do I lose the existing setup with the current profile, such as the folders I created and mail I have saved in those folders. Thanks for any help.

Outlook 2010 Quick Steps email problem
On one of my computers Quick Steps will not let me save/add/edit any Quick Step with an email address. If I try to add an email addres to "To Manager" and then hit "Save" nothing happens. The editing window stays open and I must close it by clicking"X". If the email is a know person the email address changes to the person's name, yet the address in not saved and I must click "X" to exit the editing window.
I've tried "repair". This was an install over Office 2007 on Win 7 64.

Mailmerge Not working in Office / Outlook 2010
Hi,
I am tring to do a mailmerge to email messages. When I "finish and merge" notthing happens. I had this same problem in 2007 and it was fix by changing a registry key hklm\software\clients\email\(default) and setting it to Microsoft Outlook. Now that I have upgrading to 2010 I am having the same problem. I tried the same fix for 2007 but still doesnt work.

Personal Archive Outlook 2010
Hi,
I am having issues with accessing personal archive through Outlook 2010 installed as part of Office 2010 Professional Plus. We can see the personal archive through OWA and on some computers with Outlook 2010 but some computers will not display the folders. Has anyone has similar issues or know what may be causing this.

From Header changed by Outlook Rule?
USER1 has Send on Behalf permissions for USER2
When USER1 sends an email on behalf you can see that reflected in the FROM header.
Strange thing is when this SENT email is processed by an outlook(client based) rule - Copied from SENT, based on Subject, to an Outlook folder - the Send on Behalf is removed and it only shows FROM:USER2
Is this normal behavior? What is actually going on?

Error synchronizing subscribed folders in MS Outlook 2010
I get this error message when I open MS Outlook 2010 in Windows 7 after creating a new email profile ! Task 'Synchronizing subscribed folders for ( my email address )' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'Outlook cannot synchronize subscribed folders for ( my email address ). Error: This IMAP command cannot be sent to the server before the connection was terminated. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP)' How can I fix this problem, please?

Outlook can not send from a specific computer while it receives
Hi guys,
I have a computer with Outlook 2007 that connect to exchange 2007, this computer can not send from a specific computer while it receives, when I logged into another computer it works fine.
I checked the rules, quota, delete the profile, however the problem remains.

Outlook Contacts missing in Address book when clicking on To or trying to access the address book
The Address book in the ribbon and when you click on the To button in a new e-mail all of the contacts are missing.
When you click on the contact button in the tree the addresses are there.
I have tried deleting the profile and recreating the profile. Importing the address. I can't remember rieall of the things I have tried with no avail.

Outlook 2007 & 2010 meeting request shown as text

I'm Dama Davis. We do have licensed version of Office being used in our office. We are facing issue with outlook, when sending meeting request from Outlook client to Hotmail/Ymail clients, the request is shown as text. But the same works fine when sent to outlook client and Gmail(web). I have gone through all the resolution provided in the MSFT sites; however, nothing fixed my issue.
From MS Outlook (Client) to:
MS Outlook (Client) and Gmail (web) it works fine.
But with Hotmail, Yamil, Rediff its showing only text.
From Gmail(Web) to:
MS Outlook, Gmail, Hotmail it works fine.
I'm facing this issue with both 2007 & 2010 versions of MS Office.
1. We are using Google Apps.
2. Only single mail account is configured in outlook.

4. Tried the below steps in both Outlook 2007 & 2010
Calendar options > When sending meeting requests over Internet, use iCalendar format (put a check mark in 2010, but in 2007 its greyed)
Also tired changing the format of Outgoing mails, still it didn't work.
Please help me in resolving the issue.

Configure sync settings
I cannot find the sync settings and being accustom to 2007 (My last contract was living in the dark ages!) after I collected my email from MY server, I deleted it FROM MY SERVER. I am now stunned to find they are also deleted from outlook!
Where can I access the settings and configure Outlook to store my emails after I download them, even after I delete them from the server?
Is anyone else having this problem? My email server (attached to my url and website) has a limit. Sadly I do not live in the clouds....

After viewing the Outbox, messages cannot send
Symptoms:
The last week my customer experience problem. When users are offline and send email, they are kept in outbox. when they connect to the network the message in outbox are sent.
But, when users viewing email in outbox, email cannot send when connected back to the network.
Environment:
mac-book-air with OS windows 7, mobile, and WiFi only, Outlook 2010
i'am also has been try to solve with this site http://www.slipstick.com/problems/after-viewing-outlooks-outbox-the-messages-in-it-wont-send/, but the problem hasn't solve.
Can you help me fix this problem?

cannot install LinkedIn connector
I have this same problem but dont know who to resolve it. Can anybody explain in simple steps how to resolve it? Many many thanks!
I have used this add-on for a while and all of a sudden the add on is just gone from Outlook 2010. When I go to re-install, I get this error

Tried the retry and ignore and it does not install correctly. Help me

Error 0x80004005 in Outlook 2007 downloading Global Address List
I know this is a generic error with multiple resolutions. I've tried each of those resolutions without any success. I am posting with the thought that someone may have come across another resolution.
I have one user in our organization that is receiving this error: Task 'Microsoft Exchange' reported error (0x80004005) : 'The operation failed'. Now I've been searching the forums and Google for any and all resolutions to this yet nothing seems to work.
What I have done is ...
Add Background Intelligent Transfer Service (This worked for the other user that had this error but the other has this running already)
Recreated the Outlook Profile
Removed all .oab files and attempted to download
Disabled Cache Exchange Mode
Updated Offline Address List
Recreated OAB
Verified Permissions for OAB folders
Check the timestamp for OAB
It is now just this one user that can not update their AB only to receive this error.
