Outlook email font size issue

hi,

I am facing an issue in my Outlook 2010.
The query is in my inbox, suddenly the mail font size is getting increased.
Let me give you one scenario:
User A has sent me one email, that come fine at first attempt in my inbox, but when the user A happen to send me one more mail, then suddenly the mail which i receive has got font size bigger than the earlier one.

Please let me know the solution on this issue as soon as possible.

Consistently getting this on two brand new computers running Win7 and OFFICE 2010, at two different locations of ours.

Checked settings in Outlook and Win 7 to ensure that Outlook is configured as default mail client.

No other email clients have ever been configured or used in the past.

Fix for Local Outlook 2010 Notification Sounds when using Full Screen RDP (Remote Desktop)

Confirmed on multiple PCs.

When Outlook 2010 email alerts are setup to play sounds on a local Outlook installation and you are using Remote Desktop (RDP) in full screen to view another PC, notification sounds from your local Outlook installation will not play.

Outlook is not running through RDP, Outlook is running on the local PC the user is connected to another machine in full screen over their local Outlook installation.


Outlook 2010 not logging

Hi all,

I have Outlook 2010, enabled logging and it does not create the log. I looked in C:\Users\DWalker\AppData\Local\Temp (I am using Windows 7) but no Outlook Logging folder is there. I created a few meetings and sent an email but still nothing shows.

Any ideas?

We have Outlook 2010 running on Windows 7,8 & Server 2008 R2 using POP3 exchange services. We want to disable the "From" field which actually displays the sender's e-mail id when composing or replying a e-mail to the users. where there is another option of sending the mail on some others e-mail address which need to restricted.

Kindly advice for the best solutions.

Email Stuck in Outlook 2010 outbox

First let me say that I use Outlook 2010 and for the most part I am VERY happy with it.  But yesterday I was sending emails with attachments and 4 out of the 8 that I sent are still stuck in the outbox.  If I send other emails that do not have attachments it is still taking a long time for them to go through.  I have now had to go to my hotmail account to send mail (which is what I did not want to do since I use Outlook) so that it can bypass the stuck emails.  Is there a way to move/delete something to get them gone so that I can send mail like before?

As I try to view last year calender meeting details in outlook 2010, but i can't able see last year data in my outlook calender it's shows only last 10 month data, all other old month data blank, please help me to fix this issue.

Meeting request is received as text for clients

Hi,

I'm Dama Davis. We do have licensed version of Office being used in our office. We are facing issue with outlook, when sending meeting request from Outlook client to Hotmail/Ymail clients, the request is shown as text. But the same works fine when sent to outlook client and Gmail(web).  I have gone through all the resolution provided in the MSFT sites; however, nothing fixed my issue.

From MS Outlook (Client) to:

MS Outlook (Client) and Gmail (web) it works fine.

But with Hotmail, Yamil, Rediff its showing only text.

From Gmail(Web) to:

MS Outlook, Gmail, Hotmail it works fine.

I'm facing this issue with both 2007 & 2010 versions of MS Office.

1. We are using Google Apps.

2. Only single mail account is configured in outlook.

3. (a) From Outlook Client (Google Apps) to:

    MS Outlook Client (Google Apps) - It works fine

    Gmail (Web) - It works fine

    Hotmail/Ymail/Rediff - It's showing pain text as below

4. Tried the below steps in both Outlook 2007 & 2010

    Calendar options > When sending meeting requests over Internet, use iCalendar format (put a check mark in 2010, but in 2007 its greyed)

Also tired changing the format of Outgoing mails, still it didn't work.

In the sent items its lshowing as request. I have tried all the options, turned off the firewall and antivirus protection. Still the issue is not fixed.

I have tried it inside our Intranet and I came to know that inside also we do face the same issue. Tried sending meeting request from MS Outlook to Hotmail (my personal ID), the result was the same, request is shown as text. Tried from around 10-15 PC's, still having the same issue.

From MS Outlook (Client) to:

MS Outlook (Client) and Gmail (web) it works fine.

But with Hotmail, Yamil, Rediff its showing only text.

From Gmail(Web) to:

MS Outlook, Gmail, Hotmail it works fine.

I'm facing this issue with both 2007 & 2010 versions of MS Office. I don't know what to do.

Please help me in resolving the issue.

Outlook 2010: Operation Failed when the email was saved as draft with a logo signature

Hi,

I'm facing with this issue since 1 week. All computers have Outlook 2010 installed and the server is Exchange 2010 with the roll-up 3 installed last week (more or less when the problems begun).
After making a lot of tests, I determined the cause of my problem but I don't know how to fix it.
All users are creating new emails with their default signature, including a logo in jpeg format.
So there is no problem whether the email is sent directly without saving it.  This problem appears only if the email is saved in the draft folder and closed. After opening this draft we cannot send the email (error: The operation failed) except if the jpeg logo is deleted.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Unread mail folder in favorites

Hi , I am using Outlook 2010 in Windows 7. In Outlook 2010 , there has an area , named "favorites" , we can put some folder into it .

I want to put "unread mail" into "favorites" , but it's not by manual , have any way to set it by using OCT (Office customized tools) or modification in registry ?

I hope that  "unread mail" folder will be showed in "favorites" after office installation automatically.

Hi,

In outlook i am not able to see the status of the contacts in the mail. It is showing as presence unknown.

Surprisingly sometimes one or 2 contacts alone are seen with correct status while others are still seen as unknown.

can anyone please help....

Outlook 2010 stops receiving e-mails after 5 to 7 hours of up time

I have a brand new Windows 8 computer, Purchased on October 26th.  I installed Office 2010 including Outlook 2010 and ran ALL the updates that Windows update could find.  Now Outlook works fine for 5 to 7 hours after booting.  After that it stops downloading e-mails.  Outlook sits there and will tell you that there are XX e-mails and it is downloading 1 of XX but it never does.  I have left the computer up all night to see if anything comes down.  In the morning Outlook still reports that is downloading 1 of XX.  

Rebooting the computer and restarting Outlook solves the problems for several hours but then the problem reappears!

Office shared features and office tools 2010 provide what features

Installing Outlook 2010 from the Microsoft Office Pro 2010 suite of products. I am limiting it because I am wanting to use only Outlook from 2010 and the rest of the suite from 2003.

Can you explain what office tools and office shared features provide in enhanced features?

Outlook 2013 IMAP Sent Folders - New items not showing up

Hi! I have a strange problem with Outlook 2013  and the IMAP Sent Items folder.

When setting up the account, all old items are transferred as they should. But then, new sent mail is not showing up in the Sent Items folder locally. It does show up luckily on the sever (via webmail) and on other devices, but just not in Outlook. "Do not save copies of sent items" is deactivated.

Can I lose Emails through this bug? Will other folders be affected as well? I need all Email locally for archiving purposes.

unable to open random excel attachments from Outlook 2007 in Win XP

We are getting an error when trying to open some attachments in Outlook 2007 that says "Can't write to c:\documents and settings\user ID\local settings\temp files\ect...  I used the registry and found this temp folder and cleared out the contents.  Still had the same trouble so we deleted the folder.  Still had the same trouble.  I deleted the entire user account off the PC.  We recreated the account and still getting the exact same error message.  I don't believe it's an issue with the having too much in that temp file as deleting the user profile wiped everything.  The user was sent the attachment from a different email and it works, but it only works for a few days and then goes back to this error.  Yes, we can save the excel doc to the PC, but would rather not as its easier to use outlook.  Plus, I would like to find a solution instead of a work around.  Any suggestions?

To save time, please note that a previous thread (http://social.technet.microsoft.com/forums/en-us/outlook/thread/4D4927BB-75E6-4138-A304-EBBFCFF026AD) doesn't apply in my case.

Installed Outlook 2010 on a new Win 7 machine and set up a MAPI account to a non-Exchange server.  Of course, Outlook tries to access and sync with the account. I first get an Outlook popup alert saying "Could not complete the operation. One or more parameter values are not valid".  

The sync completes and the Inbox and other folders indicate unread emails (numbers in bold to the right of the folder name) and the status bar indicates the correct number of items in that folder.  However, for every folder, I see no email.  I get popup notices of incoming email but they don't appear in the Inbox.

Email I send arrives in the recipient's account but it does not appear in the Sent folder. 

Of course the default view is sorted by Date.  

Here's what's odd:  If I sort by any column *but* date, the emails all appear but *not* new email.  If I then un-check the "Show as Conversations" option on the View tab, I can then see all email even when sorting by date and including the new email.

If I turn on the "Show as Conversations" option again, the problem returns, including the Outlook popup alert about unable to complete the operation.

Any ideas of how to correct this?

I've already deleted the profile and deleted all files in the ..\local\Microsoft\Outlook folder and then recreated the profile from scratch.

Outlook 2007 Meeting Invitations loose Reminder

We have a hosted exchange running exchange 2007 and one of our users cannot set a reminder for accepted meeting requests.

I send him a meeting request with a 15 minutes reminder, he accepts the meeting request, and it get added to his calendar, but if he open the meeting it has his remindeer set to none and therefore he misses many meetings as he is expecting the reminder to pop up 15 minutes before the meeting.

He can open the meeting and manually set it to 15 minues after he has accepted it, but he does not remeber to alwasy do that and many times he might accept the meeting request from his iPhone while he is on the road. But accepting the ivitation on his iPhone or Computer both product the same results.

We have the default set to 15 minutes and not sure what else we are doing wrong. If he send me a request, it works fine for me, seems like it is something on his computer. He is running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit and Office 2007 Standard.

Outlook 2013 doesn't synchronize with Live Mail

Hi!

I updated my Office to Office 2013 and after that Outlook doesn't synchronize one of my Live Mail accounts any more. It is hard for me to find out what's going on because there are no error messages. Sync seems to succeed but new messages are not shown.

Is this known issue? How can I solve the problem?
