I'm unable to add a new signature to Outlook 2010, the "new signature" window appears but after entering the name of the signature and pressing the {ok} button nothing happens. Never had a similar problem with Windows 7. Any ideas ?

Hi,

I have a user who is experiencing problems with Outlook 2010 on Windows 7 Professional 32bit. The user has access to an additional mailbox. When accessing this mailbox the number of unread messages always appears as one less than all other users who have access to this box. Also each time the user marks an email with a category after 23 seconds the category is automatically removed from the email. Any ideas?

Hello there,

I have been asked for help with the following issue:

One of Outlook 2007 users reported the all the reminders are now delayed by 98 weeks. See the screenshot below:

However, new reminders look O.K.:

Note: User is using PST file only (no OST file, no caching mode).

Any thoughts how to further investigate/fix the issue will be appreciated...

Dear All,

I am using the MS exchange server 2007 installed on windows server 2003, we configure the exchange anywhere with the SSL certificate from Verisign , it was working fine, but now days some of the outlook that is abrode in IRAQ having problem of disconnected, when i checked that config from outlook, found that the exchange anywhere configuration removed by it self, any body have idea why it is happen , there is no changes done on the server side

I want powershell automatical create an outfile, to do this I have this script.

But when I try to run the ps1 file via a batch file this file won't create anything.

After the file is create I would like powershell to send the file to a specific mailaddress. But I need that powershell creates my outfile before it tries to send it.

How can I achieve this? I do not have the possibility to use QAD within powershell i my enviroment.

In our office, we recieve emails in many different languages. It would be SOOOO helpful if we can set the TO language to English. Outlook has NEVER guessed the correct combination of languages.

Personally, i receive emails in Spanish and German and EVERY time i choose translate (right click on word/paragrapth/etc) my Research bar says FROM English TO Chinese.

Its worse than not having a translation feature. And more clicks/effort than using Google Translate or BabelFish.

Can some one please give me good news about Upgrades / Service Packs / even registry hacks...

hi all

some silly one...  :) 

i sometimes get an email with empty subject and i want that outlook will move it automatically to a specific folder. i found the correct rule for that but the thing is that its not let me to apply that till i fill in the line "subject"  i tried to put  " "  but it doesn't work...

Hello All,

I have searched the forums and not found this same problem so my apologies if I have missed it.

I am using Outlook 2010 (upgraded from 2007 (on Windows (7 32-bit) using IMAP. I have been using 2010 for about one month now, and this problem started only yesterday. What happened is that no new emails showed in my inbox for several hours, even after doing send/receive many times. I logged into my email account using a webmail interface and saw that I had many new emails, yet none were displaying in my Outlook inbox.

After searching the web and these forums, I saw a similar problem that suggested doing a Repair on Office, which I did, and this fixed the problem…. Until about an hour ago, when it reared its ugly head again.

Again, I can send/receive with no errors, yet new emails do not show in my inbox. I can also send emails with no problems.

Any help is greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance.

When copying one or many emails from Outlook 2010 to OneNote, does it copy over the Internet Headers?

I do not observe any when looking at the copied email, but I wanted to ensure I did not miss it being stored somewhere less obvious. I wanted to get positive confirmation that they are not copied instead of making the decision based on a lack of evidence.

Running windows 7 and outlook 2010 (64 bit) . Cannot send email from either Adobe Acrobat 9  or Adobe Readre 9 as outlook is not recognised by them as the default email client. Oulook is set up as default email client

I recently had an Outlook 2007 Messaging service with RedOxygen, to receive Microsoft Exchange emails via text message. I set up the service through Outlook, with the messages being sent to my phone. I then decided that I didn't like this method, so I cancelled my service with RedOxygen and removed the OMS email account in my Outlook.

Now I am receiving concurrent emails each time something is emailed directly to me. One is the actual email message, the other is the following message below:

*email and phone number changed for privacy*

This is only happening on my local machine. I have tested emails on other computers and only receive the "undeliverable" emails from my own computer. Both AD and the Exchange Server show my profile as having OMS Disabled.

Using Outlook 2010 against Exchange 2007.

A couple of weeks ago I found my drafts folder was filling up with dozens of copies of a calendar item. This was not a meeting request, just a reminder on my calendar.

I could not stop it, so I deleted the even hoping that would resolve the problem.

However, the problem begain immediately with another calendar item.

The will add over 150 items in my draft folder each day. Any solutions?

Guys

I'm using Outlook 2010 in a corporate environment with Exchange 2010

1) In Outlook, if I set up a meeting with someone else and mark it as private, would it show private on both our calendars or just mine?

2) If I set up a regular meeting without any private settings, can I adjust the meeting invite after it has been accepted so that it only shows private on my calendar and not send out a meeting update to the other invitee?

Since upgrading from Outlook 2010 to 2013, IMAP folders which are sub-folders in the Inbox haven't been syncing.

They show in the folder list but they remain empty. Looking in the Sync Issues folder shows the below for each sub-folder:

16:28:27 Synchronizer Version 15.0.rup

16:28:27 Synchronizing Mailbox 'james.mcewen@daily.co.uk'

16:28:27 Synchronizing server changes in folder 'cPanel'

16:28:27 Error synchronizing folder

16:28:27                               [8004010F-0-0-560]

16:28:27 Done

The folders sync OK in other clients (ie Outlook 2010, Thunderbird etc) so it looks to be the way IMAP has been implemented in 2013.

I created a new profile and set the account up from scratch with no change.

I have found one other thread from an earlier preview version which didn't seem to be solved.

Any help is much appreciated.

I am running exchange 2007 with outlook 2010 and whenever a mailbox reaches it's prohibit send quota email that is sent sits in the outbox with no other notification to the user that the mailbox is full. We would like for the mailbox cleanup wizard to appear as it did in the past. I have seen a hotfix for this occurring when connected to exchange 2003 however that does not resolve the issue.

I get this error message when I open MS Outlook 2010 in Windows 7 after creating a new email profile !  Task 'Synchronizing subscribed folders for ( my email address )' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'Outlook cannot synchronize subscribed folders for  ( my email address ). Error: This IMAP command cannot be sent to the server before the connection was terminated. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP)' How can I fix this problem, please?

Hello,

I recently upgraded to Outlook 2010 and I am a "massive" user of the advanced find feature. I need to be able to see the item count result of my searches - just like it was on Outlook 2003. Unfortunately, I see that the advanced find window on 2010 doesn't have a status bar and therefore, I can't see the item count result.
