Hello, we just rolled out xenapp 6.5 on server 2008r2. We use appsense to manage our profile settings,
when a user opens outlook 2010 their existing signature can be found and displayed. The issue comes when they want to edit or add a new signature. They get an "outlook cannot complete the save due to a file permission error \ \server\profiles$\user\appdata\microsoft\signatures" .
The profile share allows all authenticated users to all profiles but is hidden.
we have tried adding to trusted sites in outlook
We had the issue when closing outlook/word and same file permission error to the normal.dotm file in the \ \server\profiles$\user\appdata\microsoft\templates area.
To work around this we got appsense to save the normal.dotm into a new folder we called "MyTemplates" into the \ \server\profiles$\user\appdata\microsoft area.
we cant do this with the signature file as we would have to move all files from all user profiles one level up in the structure. DO microsoft have some special security on these 2 folders of templates and signatures ?
