In my company Outlook 2007 (which is integrated with Exchange) profile, I had created a rule for incoming mails.Rule was to move specific incoming mails to a inbox sub-folder under a customized peronsal data folder (John.pst)
The mails did not seem to be moved to those inbox-subfolder specified and
they are missing from any mail box list.
I do not remember the subject heading for all those mails. In order to find something, I searched for a partial phrase like "chin" - clicked on search all mail items : and the relatedmail showed up under John folder (which is the pst data folder).
I am not able to find/list more than 20 mails due to the rules created. I am sure its under John.pst but itdoes not list the mails under inbox nor the few subfolders that are created under inbox. They are not in sent/draft/deleted/whatever folder.
Please help on how to list or find those hidden mails. Presently I have deleted those rules. The rule were move emails from james@example.com to James folder.
Was able to confirm from a co-worker that it happened to him too (using rule to move incoming mails to a specific folder in peronsal data folder too). Presently he moves the mails to respective folders manually rather through rules. It something wrong with outlook 2007 rules?
