Event ID 3036 - The content source cannot be accessed

The content source <mapi://{S-1-5-21...}/> cannot be accessed.

Details:

                A server error occurred. Check that the server is available.  (HRESULT : 0x80041206) (0x80041206)


The error message above is displayed after Outlook hangs when attempting to save an attachment to a network drive.  I have not been able to recreate this error when saving files to the C drive, only when browsing a network drive. The error is intermittent.  Network connections are stable (no disconnects during saving.)  Indexing is already turned off (Outlook add-in and within Windows.)  The user does not have any PSTs.

I've exhausted my Google-fu on this one.  Any help is appreciated.
