Hi
I am often sent data which is exported from a Microsoft Access data base, the data is in the body of an email, this data has floating point numbers normally with 2 decimal places ie 9.56 , 34.95 etc. Some times there are properly formatted email address sent along with the numbers.
Now the problem when I receive them the decimal point has been duplicated ie 9..56, 34..95 and in emails ernie..pickering@
The person sending the mail doesn't see these double decimal points in the sent mail, I arranged to pick up the mail on 2 different machines my PC running outlook 2007, and my Tablet running MS-Live mail. the double decimals only show on the PC running outlook
This is quite random, and affect all the floating point numbers in the mail, and doesn't happen in all emails.
Has anyone else seen this, and if you have, have you been able to fix it?
Regards
Ernie
