Hi, everyone. I hope someone is able to assist with my query.
My organisation has recently moved to Exchange 2010 with Outlook 2010 client.
We've had several random reports from users who are sending HTML emails and then finding out the message has been sent blank (if it has attachments, these are still visible) The blank mesage also appears in their sent items. Replying or forwarding the message
shows it still to be blank. I've also tried opening in browser - same result.
We initially only saw the problem sending externally but we've since had an internal instance of the same problem. We do use a Metadata checker when sending external mail with attachments.
I took copies of some of these "blank" messages and opened in Note Pad. They all seem to contain lines of the following:
<w:LsdException Locked="false" Priority="39" Name="toc 9"/>
<w:LsdException Locked="false" Priority="35" QFormat="true" Name="caption"/>
<w:LsdException Locked="false" Priority="10" SemiHidden="false" UnhideWhenUsed="false" QFormat="true" Name="Title"/>
<w:LsdException Locked="false" Priority="1" Name="Default Paragraph Font"/>
<w:LsdException Locked="false" Priority="11" SemiHidden="false" UnhideWhenUsed="false" QFormat="true" Name="Subtitle"/>
<w:LsdException Locked="false" Priority="22" SemiHidden="false" UnhideWhenUsed="false" QFormat="true" Name="Strong"/>
<w:LsdException Locked="false" Priority="60" SemiHidden="false" UnhideWhenUsed="false" Name="Light Shading"/>
<w:LsdException Locked="false" Priority="61" SemiHidden="false" UnhideWhenUsed="false" Name="Light List"/>
This continues for quite a few lines. A normal message sent by the same users does not contain any of this text. I tested also sending a blank email in an attempt to semi-replicate the issue. Does anyone know what this text means or represents? Users assure
me that the messages contain no copy/pasted text.
Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks for your help,
