My boss got an iphone for work about 8 months ago, and shortly after, we developed an odd issue that is driving us both nuts. he's convinced it's a lame prank, and has asked me several times to stop. it's not a prank and i can't figure this issue out.
When he is on the road (we are architects), he uses his iphone to send emails. sometimes he'll email me to ask me a question, and i'll respond via email and every things fine. but soon after, outlook will send him an email from me with nothing in it except"iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii" in the text. it never says anything else, just iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. There's nothing in my sent folder showing this message, we don't have this problem with other people in our office, or clients, it only happens between us. It doesn't happen with any consistency, in other words, he doesn't get a stray email ever-time i send him an email on the road, it's just an occasional occurrence. But it does happen frequently, and it only happens when he's out of the office using his phone.

we have Trend Micro anti-virus
this issue has happened with two different versions of outlook, currently using 2010
