Added MS Exchange Account -- Can no longer synch phone

Hi Folks,

I'm using Outlook 2010 on a Windows XP SP3 system.

I recently installed a MS Exchange account in Outlook.  Prior to that I had a mixture of POP and IMAP accounts, but no other Exchange account.  After doing the installation, I've noticed that all my folders have been reorganized, that the default calendar being displayed is new, and that I can no longer synch my phone.  When I attempt to do the latter, I get a message that says that "a different profile" is needed.  However, I just have one, the default "Outlook" profile.

Is there a way to (a) enable the default display of the Calendar so my personal calendar is displayed instead of the Exchange calendar, and (b) fix it so I can synch my phone to the personal info instead of the Exchange info?  

I've wondered if setting the "Default Data File" (in Control Panel | Mail | Data Files) to the old personal folder would do the trick.
