No notifications in Outlook 2013 pro / Windows 8

Hi, I installed Windows 8 and Office 2013 pro BUT receive no new mail notifications, neither pop-ups or sound. Both sound and pop-ups work for notifications in messenger and Skype though. I activated them in Outlook and in Windows 8 BUT I have no Outlook in the applications listed in the Windows parameters under notifications? Don't know where to search anumore, any idea's?
