Greetings All!
I recently installed Office Pro 2013 on Win 7 and have been trying to get Outlook setup properly for a few days. Each time I think I am set, something else happens.
Here is where I am at now. After trying IMAP for multiple accounts I did not like the excessive work arounds to try and group multiple email accounts into one unified inbox. I ended up just setting up POP3 accounts and changing the folder for new emails to go to a specific inbox.
After setting up the email boxes as I have done on many other mail clients, everything seemed good. I had the issue where Outlook would abend when trying to send email. I disabled the eset add-in and that issue was resolved.
Now when I send an email, it sits in my outbox and does nothing. This is strange because the test emails were sent when I setup the accounts. Why are they no longer sending now? I went into the add-ins and disabled Microsoft Exchange and my emails worked again. An hour later, I am back to email sitting in my outbox.
The errors I have
0x800CCC13 - All POP3 emails - cannot connect to network
0x8004010f - IMAP gmail account
I have deleted the email address and removed the existing *.pst files and then added the email back but email still sit in my outbox and test emails are sent and received.
I am about to stick with Thunderbird since I have wasted enough time on this. I have been through multiple iterations of uninstalling, deleting pst and ost files that my head is spinning. I thought I would try one last time before I chunk this in the bin and wait for a new release. What am I missing??
Thanks for your help everyone,
