I have bought a digitical signature certificate from a company in India and that certificate is found on a usb token. What I want to try is to use that certificate to sign an email using outlook 2010. please find attached snapshot for trust center settings. When I am sending an email now, i am getting the error message "The operation failed. The messaging interfaces have returned an unknown error. please restart oulook". Restarting outlook gives the same error. When we have contacted that company, i was told that, if you look in the attached picture, hash algorithm and encryption algorithm are disabled. Since a hash and encryption algorithm could not be chosen, that is the reason it is not working. Can anyone help me on this? It is very important. If someone from Microsoft can look into this, it would be great.
