The below issue is for a user who is using MS Outlook 2007 SP3.
We use Zimbra as our mail server. I have a user who has 2 email accounts. He can view both accounts in Microsoft 2007 SP3 which he has installed on his work machine. If he wants to view the accounts at home, he logs into the Zimbra web GUI. He forgot the password for one of his accounts so he was unable to login to that account at home through the Zimbra Web GUI. I reset his password in the Zimbra Web Console.
Everything seemed find but when he rebooted his work machine the next day, the following two issues occurred in MS Outlook 2007 SP3:
a) All emails from mailbox A are showing up in mailbox B in Outlook. If the user logs into the Zimbra Web GUI he does not get any of the emails from account A in his account B mailbox. There is no forwarding rule in the Zimbra Admin Console and
there is no forwarding or redirect rule in Outlook for this to happen.
b) The user is no longer receiving any emails in mailbox B in Outlook but if he checks that account through the Zimbra Web GUI he does see new emails.
1) I am not sure how to stop the email from mailbox A from being mirrored to mailbox B in Outlook (and again, I see no redirection rule).
2) I am not sure how to get the emails to account B to start showing up again in mailbox B in Outlook.
