I run Outlook 2003 on Windows 7 64 bit PC.
In the past no problems were there. But at the moment I have the following problems:
- compacting data file: message: requested operation failed
- what is worse: opening a separate pst file immediately results in "outlook has stopped working".
Same happens in safe mode. Change of compatibility settings or administrator settings did not resolve the issue. Repair did not either. SP3 installed. No (Com)-add-ins. pst files checked with scanpst.exe.
As said: receiving and sending emails are ok.
Any suggestions welcome. I hate a full new installation, which influences also Word, Excel etc.
