Hi,
I need to deploy a new outlookprofile to 100 users on pc's with different os(Xp SP3, Vista SP2, Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8). Each pc has office 2007 installed (different versions, all volume licenses). The installationmethod of office 2007 was to execute the exe from a directory in the root of the pc, containing the copied office installation files. The users have limited rights on the pc.
Each user has his own e-mailprofile (checks against exchange server 2007(externally hosted)). Within 4 days the exchange server is going to be migrated to 2010. Each user is going to get new accountpasswords.
I know about creating a msp-file and a prf-file. My problem is how to deploy the personal settings (passwords included) so there is no interaction from the user needed.
What is the best practice to counter this problem?
