I get an average of 100 business emails per day and I am set up with an IMAP account.
My IMAP .pst file is quite large at 21.44 GB as I use Outlook as my contact manager.
Several times a day Send/Receive will either lockup completely, where I have to close Outlook through Task Manager, or it takes Send/Receive anywhere from 3 to 10 minutes to process - even if no new emails come in.
I have run the repair utility numerous times and it does not seem to help.
I cannot find any info online (even here) that helps and would appreciate any help you can offer.
