Outlook 2010 Sent Items Folder

The Sent Items folder works just fine for messages that I originate in Outlook. However, when I use Adobe Lightroom 4 to email pictures, using Outlook, it creates a new message in Outlook and attaches the photos as expected and I can use the Outlook contacts folder to choose the recipient, but when I send the message it goes to the Outbox and sends butdoes not save a copy in the Sent Items folder. I could always cc: myself to get a copy to manually put in the Sent Items folder, but that is a little convoluted.
