I cannot get the safe senders GPO setting to work anymore. We originally instituted this back in the days when we were an Exchange 2007\Outlook 2007 shop. We've recently upgraded to Exchange 2010 and we now have a mix of Outlook 2007/2010 clients.
I have some clients that this is just not working on, and others that it does work on, and it is not client version specific. One client I been experimenting with has Outlook 2010 installed. I check his registry and he does have the JunkMailImportLists set to 1 and the JunkMailSafeSendersFile pointing to the appropriate location. I can copy the file path out of the registry entry and paste it into the run box and the file will open.
I have rebooted the client multiple times, but everytime I start Outlook, it fails to pick up the settings.
This did work in the past, but seems to have recently stopped working and I don't know why or when. Anyone seen any similar behavior?
