I have a strange issue that may only be coincidence. I recently migrated a customer of ours from a mix of Exchange 2010 physical/virtual servers to an all Exchange 2010 virtual environment. Instead of doing P2V migrations I rebuilt the servers and migrated the mailboxes. We wanted a clean install due to some issues with the previous build. Anyways one user who was migrated noticed that some of the folders were shared after the migration. From my understanding Outlook folders can only be shared manually and where ever Outlook is configured for that user. Question is, is there a way to do this automatically not on the configured laptop/desktop or can migrating the mailbox share the folders?
