I have a client of mine who has been having issues with the search function in Outlook 2010. When She does searches she uses the search tab in Outlook 2010 and a lot of times she will do a search using the "From" (Ex. from:(Sender Name) ) or the "To:" (Ex. to:(Recipient Name) ). The results always comes back with nothing found. I have disabled indexing, rebuilt the index, Uninstalled Outlook, repaired Outlook and the problem remains. The only thing that seems to work was to remove the Exchange account and then add it back in (which makes a new .OST). That worked for about 2 days and then it stopped working again. I am trying to find a permanent solution. I do the same searches in my Outlook and everything works like it is supposed to.
If she does a regular search just by a keyword it seems to work. It just seems to be with the To and From type searches. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
