I am attempting to export the contents of the sent items folder of a user who is no longer with our firm. The inbox export worked fine but when attempting to export the sent items folder I get an error message that says "Some items cannot be copied. They were either moved or deleted, or access was denied."
I have set Outlook to "Work offline" to ensure that no one else was logged into the mailbox and moving or deleting messages.
I am logged in with the account of the owner of the mailbox so it should not be a security issue.
I have tried copying the contents of the sent items folder to a new folder (which worked fine) and tried exporting them from there, same result.
I'm doing this to have a backup of this user's mail and delete his (huge) mailbox from the Exchange server. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
