I have 5 gmail/google apps accounts, as well as exchange/hotmail etc.
Only the first gmail account I added to outlook will send correctly.
The others send correctly when I do "Test Account Settings", but any mail I send from these accounts just gets stuck in the outbox. There are no error messages.
All the accounts are in the "All accounts" send receive group.
All accounts have the correct stmp settings i.e.
- correct use/pass,
- outgoing server set to require same authentication settings as incoming"
- smtp set to 465 and SSL.
I know its not my ISP as one of them works, and all of them work with "Test account Settings".
I had supsected that as they all have the same outgoing STMP server (i.e. stmp.gmail.com), outlook was picking one of them at random and using this account to try and send all, which obviously will fail as the login will not be correct. To test this theory, I changed one of the outgoing STMP server so be "stmp.googlemail.com". Didnt fix the problem.
Is there any way to debut the STMP server which outlook is actually using to send a specfic mail? It seems to be getting the wrong on for some reason.
