Move emails outlook 2007 to apple mail

I have almost 10000 emails in different folders in outlook 2007 that I need to transfer to apple mail. 

I am a new mac user and am unaware of how this technical stuff works in mac system.

So I need a simple but effective way to transfer these emails along with their folders intact as they are in outlook 2007.

Your help will be appreciated.
