We have a AD DS environment with Windows 7 machines and Office 2007 / 2010 installed. We're running Exchange Server 2003 on SBS 2003 (due to upgrade v. soon I promise).
The issue is with a single user who has Outlook 2007 on their laptop and is configured to use Cached Exchange Mode and Outlook Anywhere.
When the user opens Outlook they get the following error:
"You have a previous version of the Microsoft Messaging Exchange Service. Create a new profile"
Followed by:
"The mail profile was created with a newer version of Outlook and might contain information that is not compatible with your current Outlook version. If you experience problems with this profile, you can create a new profile......."
After Ok-ing this dialog, outlook closes. Recreating the profile works just fine for a short while but the error keeps on recurring. It only happens on the laptop, and from what I can tell only after the user has been logged on to a different PC with Outlook 2010 installed.
Any thoughts / help / suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
