Outlook 2007 Windows XP update (KB2687404) installation fails error code 0x779. I have had this issue before. Usually waiting fot the next XP update cures the concern, but in the meantime, I keep getting notifications that an update
is available. The yellow shield stays in the system tray. The update contains the latest siftware improvements.
