we are using Outlook 2016 , Outlook 2016 cached mode greyed out and no one can change it from outlook setting, how do I can change it via registry, there is no group policy applying from AD side. accounts are on office365.

We are running a hybrid exchange environment.
Exchange 2013 on prem and O365.
All new hires are being directly added to O365 as we have begun migrating.
The problem is, we need to support both email servers in the Remote Desktop Farm.
So we offer Outlook Client to on prem email users and "new/O365" users we ask them to use outlook.com.
I have dug as deep as I can to figure out why our outlook.com users cannnot get an inline/embedded image to show regardless of browser, added trust contacts under junk mail. I do not have a way to turn of conversation mode in outlook.com from the user side.
Any advice would be appreciated.

OK, so for some reason my outlook email is not the only email that is getting things that are sent to me. So to clarify awhile back I had to add another email to my outlook account to check to make sure that it was receiving emails. Long story short I was able to fix that email and it resumed getting emails. So I deleted it from my account. So I am back to getting my just my own emails. Then about two weeks later two people from the company I work for, that are connected to that email that I fixed, are now getting my emails that are sent to just my email address. I see no trace of that email anywhere on my account yet they still get my emails. There is no problem for me getting them but they keep getting my emails and have to delete them. They also didn't get my emails while the email was attached to my account. It just now seems to be doing it.
Please let em know if there is a solution to this problem.

My boss is experiencing something that I cant seem to find as a simple google search..
We migrated from 2013 to 2016 and within outlook, he has his view set to reading pane on the bottom. His issue is when he double-clicks on emails with attachments and closes the application, the pop-up email he opened originally, closes as well.
Meaning, if he double-clicked on an .pdf attachment and closes out of Adobe, the pop-out window where he double-clicked the attachment on, closes as well. (hope that makes sense)
Is this a setting we can adjust or is this something else we need to look at?
Please let me know as it is driving him nuts (hahha.. I know, its petty but its the little things that get him)

I am using outlook merging email function to send my company's flyer to customers. The flyer is in HTML format which includes both words and images. In SENT folder, both words and images could be viewed perfectly. However, all customers received following wordings with NO Images received. But, all the wordings from my HTML file displayed fully to all customers. My email account setup at Outlookk is IMAP/SMTP. I tried both rich text and html in outlook setting's compose message in which format. Also, I tried both "convert to HTML format" & "Outlook rich text format" for when sending message in Rich Text Format to Internet Recipient. None of the setting worked for me. Seeking your kind advice to solve the problem.

I have a user, who´s outlook 2016 is deleting cached email addresses. He can write a mail in the morning to someone, and some time later same day, he want´s to wrote to the same person again, and the email address, is not in the cache.
We have not change the settings regarding, how many addresses there can be in the cache, so it is still 1000.
Any good suggestions?
Hello all, in my company whenever we work with the @mention feature in Outlook, it automatically adds the person in the formatFirstName LastName (firstname.lastname@company.com)
As we have a lot of names with multiple parts (firstname.van.der.lastname@company.com) you're never sure how many backspaces you're going to need, it just makes it really tedious to use the feature. I see in some videos and screenshots that people get FirstName Lastname format without the email address but I can't find any setting that controls the format. How can we set this up?

Exchange 2013 server - has been patched to the latest CU, which is CU21
Reoccurring Lync or Skype meetings, some were created when was still using Lync. Open series no issues, opens difference occurrences and content/body of the meetings are blank, the information for join meeting, call in numbers, etc, and attachments or notes are all missing.
Open same occurrences in Outlook 2010 displays fine
Open same in OWA - display's fine
Ran switches - cleanviews, clientfinders, cleanreminders
Reinstalled Office, ready to reimage computer, but client tested on a similar device and problem replicates there so I'm starting to believe its a bug with Outlook 2016
Ran repair on mailbox on exchange server (2013 server) no corruptions detected.
My research on different this appears to be a bug anyone know if Microsoft plans on fixing this, or if there is a fix for it.
Found info on these forums I've tried everything those suggested already.

Since a recent help session with an MS tech (last week) to rearrange my folders in Outlook, the application is constantly reloading and delaying receipt of incoming mail. This has to be rectified immediately or I will be forced to abandon Outlook for Apple mail.

and displaying my tasks in timeline mode than graphic garbage is displaied.

I use the "search" function in Outlook 2013 daily and it worked fine until recently, when a Windows 10 system update or other event caused it to be greyed out.
I can still put in a manual search string, which operates the search, but the buttons themselves are greyed out. It's annoying to have to get the search string correct every time.
I followed the advice of another thread on this forum regarding indexing options, but the check-box before "Microsoft Outlook" is already checked.
My Outlook 2013 version info is 15.0.4981.1000.

outlook not responding white screen. when i click any item outlook it seems hung and white screen show. nothing to do at that time. some times it come frequently.
We just upgraded our internet speed from Comcast from 50 mbps to 300 mbps. soon after the installation tech left our office, we discovered that Outlook 2016 (on Office365 exchange), is slow to load. for all our users.
what is happening here? When checking our internet speed on speedtest.net we are getting over 320 mbps, download / 30 upload. so the speed is not the issue.
