One of my users just notified me that an e-mail he sent had mixed up the attachments.
The attachments was called: "Some text <name>.docx"
The email he sent of had 8 of these Word documents, with different name in the <name> field. The text of each documents was specific to each of the people in the filname.
After he sent it of, the recipients of the email let him know that the filenames didn't correspond to the persons detail in the document. Example: They opened the attachment "Info about George.docx". But the text inside that word document was about Steve.
All the documents was mixed up.(None of the filenames corresponded to the text in the docs)
I have examined the e-mail he sent (in the sent items folder), and indeed it is wrong. I also had a look at the persons disk and the documents he attached was correctly named and had not been changed since he sent of the e-mail.
I'm having a hard time trying to give him an explanation....anyone here with any ideas?
The user is connected to a Windows 2003 Terminal Server, and the documents is located on a DFS network location. The email was a reply to an email, using "Attach File" to attach the documents.
We have installed office 2007 with outlook 2007. the outlook client configured with Register.it emails.
sometimes when we sending emails, it says [5.2.0 Sending Prohibited (Max Rcpt To Daily limit)]
Our daily mail sending limit is 1000 mails per day. But we received this message especialy in evening.
how to solve this problem.
I am facing issues with outlook 2016 returning any search results.
In the event viewer I see:
The protocol handler Mapi16 cannot be loaded. Error description: (HRESULT : 0x80004005).
I can do a run as administrator and I see search results but the search results does not come back with valid results, but comes back with everything.
I heard from support others are experiencing the same issue and they suggested I come here.

We are Using exchange 2007 and Outlook 2013. We use "EMMA" for email newsletters, etc. When we try to forward one of these emails from outlook, while connected directly to exchange, outlook crashes and has to be restarted.
If we access exchange through the internet, either with outlook or OWA, it works fine.
If I attempt to forward the email and chanke tp plain txt, it works fine. If I attempt to change to Rich Txt, it crashes.
Replying to the email works fine.
Any thoughts, ideas?

We have enabled troubleshoot logging in Outlook and can view the resulting etl files in event viewer but the resulting file just shows us event IDs and I am at a loss as to where I can check what they mean. Below is a list of the errors we have.

When I add a contact in outlook I want the number in E164 format, for example: +441122233344
However when I save it in outlook 2013 it changes it to be +44 1122233344
This then causes issues with the reverse number lookup in skype for business.
Is there any way to stop this?
Sometimes I receive emails with indent lines on the left. Usually this happens when this email has been forwarded around a lot. When I forward this email myself, I try to clean it up. But when I get to a section with these indent lines, nothing I do will remove them. Not delete, not remove indent, not the eraser, nothing. The only thing I can do is cut the content I want to keep, delete the entire section with the indent lines, then paste the cut section back into a non-indented section of my email.
I'm using using Outlook 2010, but this problem has been around for a long time. I was just hoping that there would finally be a solution.

Issue is a small business needing to move their GoDaddy hostaged, I mean hosted, e-mail to Office 365. From what I have read there is no direct path for moving from a re-seller back to the Microsoft mothership. I guess we would be eliminating GoDaddy and grabbing e-mail directly from O365 instead of it being passed off to GD. We have <30 accounts and are hoping for a solution that does not require a lot of backing up and restoring of .pst files.
Yes, we should have purchased O365 direct but didn't. Any one out there already done this?

When i click an email, the Preview pane does not show the full meesage of the email. It shows "Download the rest of this message now" butten instead. I have to click this button to download the full message. This issue is not related to Exchange Server because I setup Outlook in another computer for my profile and this issue does not occur. Other collegues do not encounter this issue either.
How to fix this issue to let it show the full message in the Preview pane? I use Outlook 2007.

I have delegate access to my manager's calendar in order to accept and decline her meeting invitations. However, the notifications remain in my manager's inbox after I have replied. I have explained to her that she can see whether I have responded to a meeting but she doesn't want them cluttering up her inbox and feeling she needs to check whether it has been dealt with. She would like the notification to disappear out of her inbox once I have responded to it, in the same way that it would disappear if she had responded herself.
Is this something that can be done?

I find a lot of spam emails are in Russian. How to setup a rule so that Outlook can remove all Russian emails as spam automatically? Thanks
