We have a strange one and I've exhausted my other resources and troubleshooting.
We have a simple meeting where the organizer is Mary. One of the invitees is Bob. When a third invitee, Sam forwards the calendar item to a fourth user, the meeting organizer shows as Bob (not Mary).
Bob does not have any delegates and Mary does not have permission to Bob's mailbox. The challenge is that each time an invitees forwards the calendar item, Bob gets the email notice--when he never should have been shown as the organizer.
When I review the meeting on the resource conference room, it shows the correct (original) organizer-Mary. I had them send me a sample of the email notification that somone had forwarded the meeting, and sure enough, it shows the organizer as Bob.
Let me know if you need more details--but the mailboxes are on Exchange 2010 and the clients are on Outlook 2010. The Exchange server has the latest patches, and we are unsure about the patches on the user’s machines.
