How to force Outlook to re-sync to Hotmail

I've been using Outlook 2010 with Hotmail Connector for over a year now, and I have not been logging in to the Hotmail Web UI. Then recently I did, and found that there are a few messages on Hotmail that are not present in my Outlook inbox anymore (because I deleted them at different times). Obviously these deletions somehow did not sync to Hotmail, and I do not think they ever will unless I do something, because some of those messages are almost a year old. Is there a way to force Outlook to re-sync to Hotmail, so that Hotmal becomes same as Outlook (not the other way around!)?
