I have a client site that uses Google Business Apps. I haven't had any problem connecting Outlook to the email portion so they can use Outlook to manage their email.
But what I can't do is connect their calendar to Outlook. I've followed the instructions on Google which are the same as I've found posted by many different people, but it gets to the last step and I get an error message.
Cannot verify or add the Internet Calendar in Outlook. Verify the link is a valid calendar link:
webcal://www.google.com/calendar/ical/myEmail@gmail.com/private-xxxxxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxx/basic.ics
The only "fix" I've found for this is to make the calendar public which of course the users at the client site are not going to do and I don't blame them.
So is there a way to do this or is this just one of those things that can't be done? (and a reason to use Office 365 instead of Google Business Apps)
