As per the subject header, I have a client who is having some trouble with categories in Outlook 2010.
Whenever he changes or assigns a category to an email, the date received and time (in the date column) are reset to the time of the change.
I'm pretty sure this is a view setting as the header information of the email remains unchanged. Unfortunately though, I cannot for the life of me find any settings that could change this behaviour and a web search on this did not turn up much either.
This is quite frustrating for the client as any older emails he categorises get jumped to the top of his inbox list.
Has anyone come across this before or know how I can fix this?
