Outlook 365 calendar events not showing beyond one year

In Outlook 365, how can we get the calendar to display prior events beyond one year?  This is a corporate environment with an Exchange Server running Exchange 2013.

how can i Convert or View my .ost file to PST file

One of my friends has recently faced system corruption issue. She has already taken backup of all data in her laptop and then she scrapped that machine which means she is now unable to access that machine again. Now the question is she wanted me to restore her Mail's backup to her new machine but the main problem is that mail backup file is in .ost file format which I can't access without same MAPI Profile so please let me know Is there any other way to migrate this type of .ost file? Please help me out its a request please don't promote any type of third-party tool.


EML files and Outlook 2010

I recently upgraded my OS from Windows Vista to Windows 7 Professional and from Windows Mail to Outlook 2010.  The problem is I believe my old .eml files are in my Windows.old folder, and I have no idea how to get some of the important mail from Windows Mail to Outlook 2010 after the fact.  I no longer have a version of Windows Mail, so how do I go about getting my .eml files into Outlook 2010?  Thx.

Outlook 2016 Archive not working

We have not been able to get our archive functions to work since upgrading to Office 2016.  It is not my cache settings as I have already tried that suggestion.  Any other ideas?

Outlook going white, hanging

I have had several users recently complain that Outlook 2016 will randomly hang, with one of the unusual symptoms that they all report is that the window they are working in will suddenly fade or go white, they can't click in it or type, there is no error message, and the only way out is to close the program and reopen it.

This is happening up to 6 - 8 times a day for some people. We have an on-premise Exchange 2010 ( fully patched). Outlook is fully patched and this does not happen in any other program. It appears to be random within Outlook.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. 

Outlook template too large to save

I am working with the online version of Outlook (Web app) and I have saved a number of templates in the past.

I just tried to save a new one and always get the message that it is too large and I should reduce the size or it cannot be saved.

It is just a few lines of text, I have larger templates and they work perfectly fine. 

Help please?

Unable to recover outlook PST file

Hi, 
I have one user that is unable to recover a PST file from Outlook. Everything was ok yesterday and Today didn't let us extract the PST file from the server...

When I select 
File --> Data Managment--> Add --> select PST --> select  the PST file from shared server --> then in Personal Folders I update name (archive1) then  select OK and I get the following error:
"MICROSOFT Outlook: One or more changes you made could not be saved. The action can not be completed."
Then nothing else happens... I have to select cancel to go back to Outllook...and no PST is loaded.

I have tried to run the SCANPST.exe ...runs ok phase 1 thru  8 ....then gives message of errors found, I select REpair and got the message : An error ocurred which caused the repair to be stopped. Some modifications may have been made to the scanned file.

I have tried to rename the BAK file before created from the SCANPST.exe, and tried to pull it from outlook ..

Also I have tried the hotfix: office2003-KB935411-GLB

Nothing seems to work... :(

DO you know what else can I do?

Groupwise Outlook Addin Deployment for on-premise solution

Is there any way to deploy outlook addin to a specific user group in case of on-premise Outlook and directory service.
Centralized Deployment Centre is not available in case of on-premise solution, Is there any way to access that. And EAC(Exchange Admin Centre) allows us to deploy addin throughout the organisation, there is no such option for specifying user groups.

I have also tried powershell cmdlets to deploy addins, but again powershell cmdlets connect to office 365 by default. Is there any option to use  "Connect-OrganizationAddInService" like commands to connect to on-premise exchange server.

And apart from that is there any other workaround for group-wise addin deployment in case of on-premise solution.

Outlook 365 2016 Trusted Platform Module error code 80090016

I have quite a few machines where after launching Outlook and trying to authenticate, they get a "something went wrong" error that Trusted Platform Module has malfunctioned, error code 80090016.  The server message is "Keyset does not exist Keyset does not exist".

If different users log in on the same computers, their Outlooks functions properly.  So I assume it's something just in those users' profiles, but I'd prefer not to delete the users' profiles if there is a fix that could be done to each instead.  Anyone know how to fix this without completely deleting the user profile off the machine?

Outlook won't display user photos on received emails from a few AD users

We are running exchange 2016 along with outlook 2016.  We load associate photos in AD and use them for Exchange, Skype for Business and SharePoint.  The issue that we are seeing is when specific users send an email their photo is not displayed in the contact card within the recipients outlook.  

If I right click where the picture should be and "open outlook properties"  the contact card opens in a new window and I can see the photo.  I am not sure where to go from here as the picture shows up correctly in SFB and SharePoint.  Exchange is also caching the correct picture in "Exchange Server\V15\ClientAccess\photos\_company-F6C3D07B498ACE586C25E05BE1166D08\HR96x96" folder.  

I should mention that for one of the users that we are seeing the issue with, we removed the picture from AD and added it back but the issue remains.  Also,  the Thumbnailphoto attribute is set to type "Indicator" in the OAB.  The photos for these users were showing up at one point then all of the sudden people started noticing that they weren't showing anymore.

I want to know the easiest way to transfer emails from Ms outlook 2011 to apple mail.

I am stuck in this situation from a very long time and haven't found any solution yet.

Do not want to opt for Imap transfer coz a have thousands of mails to transfer.

Please provide me some smart and easy solutions.

Moving Back to Apple Mail from Outlook 2011

I am trying to move back to apple mail. Currently i am using outlook 2011 but it is giving me problems. I have used apple mail before but now i want to move back to it, but there are a lot of mails that i need to transfer to apple mail. So please help me with good suggestions for this migration.

Office 365 Outlook Client Performance

I'm having so really annoying problems with the typing inside emails in the rich Outlook client. The client locks up and freezes as I'm typing. How do I get this reported and fixed by Microsoft. Do I need to open a portal case? 


How to move email & mailboxes

From past few days I am having troubles with ms office for mac 2011, especially with outlook 2011. It hangs up after some time and then I have to reboot my mac. I also re-installed ms office 2011 but the results were the same.

 

So I decided to move to apple mail. I wanted to move all the emails and the mail boxes from outlook to apple mail. But the problem arises, hoe to transfer them. Reading somewhere online, I tried to import these mails but the try was worth it. 

 

The import function in apple mail does not shows outlook 2011 in option.

So is there any other way to do it?

Email Migration Problem

I am having trouble with my Ms outlook 2011 so i switched over to Apple mail which i found much convenient and easy to use. So now the main problem arises & that is of moving my emails from outlook to apple mail. 

First i thought that i could be done simply by drag n drop method but it wasn't possible. After some research I found that both the email clients support different file extensions. So now i am stuck and don't know how to migrate outlook files (.olm) to apple mail (.mbox).

Another problem is of address book conversion to vcard files. 

I am stuck with these two situations. Please help me get over these, your help will be appreciated.

I own a Mac book Pro 2014 model. My mail account is configured in POP settings with outlook 2016 on this Apple. I have recently bought a new iMac. I want to sell the old one. I have heard it from my friends that Mac mail is taking edge over outlook on many terms. As my mails are stored offline, I really don’t want to risk them at testing. Need your view about Mail.app and is it possible to move my outlook files to Mail application?

Exchange 2013 with ecp shared folders constantly disappearing

Hi All,

As the title suggests I have a reocurring problem on an exchange server where shared folders keep disappear, it has been happening for some months but seeming stop around christmas, it has since occured again and on a much larger scale causing all sorts of issues on a email reliant customer. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know,

EDIT: I have updated, reinstalled, recreated the profile which sometimes fixes it often doesnt meaning I add it manually, I have to use cached exchange mode as some of the mailboxes have hundreds of thousands of items in them and outlook cannot cope with loading all these emails. I have also ensured the exchange server is updated


EDIT EDIT: Just seen that the mailboxes still do not appear in cached exchange mode even though it worked previously.

convert olm file to pst without use of mac

I have left my previous employer and have exported my olm file, with all my contacts and emails. I now have this olm file sitting on my Windows machine and need to convert it to PST for use in outlook and to be able to import my contacts onto my iphone.

Is there any free software available.

oledata.mso file problem

Every time when I send letter using Outlook it attaches oledata.mso file to the letter. Email recepients get confused trying to open this file. I'm tired to explain them not to open this file. How to prevent Outlook to attach this file?
