Outlook 16.0.12527.20242 wwlib.dll faulting

Outlook is randomly crashing when navigating around the inbox, not particularly frequently and with no identifiable replication steps.

Outlook 2016 - Tasks with Attachments

Hi all, 

I was wondering if you can help me, I've tried to do a quick google, but couldn't find exactly what i was looking for.

I have a group of users that are experiencing a problem with Tasks in Outlook 2016. When the user opens a task that contains an attachment, and proceeds to open said attachment, Outlook creates a new task of the attachment. 

Is there any way to stop this from happening? I've tried looking in the setting and i cant see anything that will help. 

(as a note, limited IT knowledge)

Setting up Outlook Account - Error Message

I cannot set up an Outlook account - I keep getting the following message "We couldn't create the Outlook data file. Make sure the disk you're saving to isn't full or write protected and that the file isn't being used".

I am using IMAP and manually setting it up.

Outlook continously prompting for password for "organizationalformslibrary" account

Hi all,

suddenly since 2 weeks, outlooks is always asking me for username and passoword for the organizationalformslibrary@mycompany.com (where my company is my company domain) even if i do not have this account configured among other accounts, how can i get rid of this?

"Get Add-ins" on the ribbon missing in Outlook 365

Subscription Office 365.

I do NOT have Get Add-in button:

If I go via File> Manage Add-ins

There is NO option to Add from the Office Store (only File or URL exists)

In Outlook Web App I do NOT have SettingsSettings>Manage integrations.

Also Store button can be added but is greyed out!

What controlls these settings?

I do not remember turning anything off in admin.microsoft.com but looks like it happened somehow (that affects all users)

Report Phish error

Hi All,
One of my user is not able to use Report Phish button in outlook for Mac, when he clicks Report Phish he is getting the error.
Failed to get a valid registration or configuration response. Missing keys: apiToken, apiSecret.
Experts guide me as i am not aware of MAC OS

Outlook: Failed to update Headers

I am using Office 2010, and outlook for my email needs.

My internet provider is Spectrum, and they instructed me to use IMAP server. I followed their instructions and it has been working for the last couple of years, but it stopped working for incoming mails (outgoing seems to be working). 

When I opens Outlook 2010, and the following message appears; 

failed update headers/IMAP command failed/Protocol:IMAP/server: mail.charter.net/Port:993

What would be the solution here? I asked Spectrum for this issue, and they insist that this is not their issue, but Microsoft. however, the test message from Microsoft does show up when I access Spectrum Web Mail, but it does not show on Outlook 2010 Inbox.

How to add conditional formatting to tasks which have been snoozed?

Hello. I have a question about tasks and the task view (screenshot).  Is there a column (screenshot) or field which contains the 'snooze date' for a task. Here is what I mean by 'snooze date.' When a task is created, I can set a reminder time (screenshot).  On this date, the task will automatically display in my reminders window (screenshot).  In that window, there is an option to 'snooze' the reminder for a period of time, e.g. two weeks (screenshot).  If I snooze this task, the date the task willre-appear in my reminders window is what I'm calling the 'snooze date.'  Is there a field attached to this task which reflects that date?  When I snooze the task, its 'reminder time' does *not* change to the 'snooze date.'

The reason I ask is because I would like to add conditional formatting for such tasks--i.e. tasks which have already appeared in reminders window, but have been snoozed until a later date.  

I'm using Outlook 2013 on Windows 10.

Outlook 2016 - cannot add more than 10 MS Exchange accounts

Hi folks,

I am trying to add a number of outlook.com accounts to my desktop Outlook 2016 but when I go over 10 accounts I appear to be limited "The maximum number of Microsoft Exchange accounts have been added based on a policy set by your organization. For more information, contact your administrator".

I am aware that the limit of 10 seems to be default and that there are guides saying to change HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Exchange\DWORD in the registry but I do not have this key on Windows (10 Pro).

Can someone show me how to fix this please? It is very frustrating.

Email not showing

Hi,We are facing an strange issue now, it is affacting almost all of our users.

The emails only shows in OWA and mobile but doesn't show in Outlook. Recreating outlook profile will work for a while and the issue comes back the next moring.

After so much gooling nothing useful is found. So please help me on this.

Some functions on my trial version of office 360 email account are greyed out.

Some functions on my trial version of office 360 email account are grayed out.  I am unable to see the custom function in the flag option.  The categories option is also grayed out.  Is this because it is a trial version or am I missing something?  

I also set up outlook 360 (trial version) using the pop server ( read that flags and catagories were not supported on imap and no emails have been downloaded from the server.  I checked my email provider (COX) website and there are emails in my account.

Please help.  Setting up this outlook account with what I need has been a nightmare.

Outlook 2016 - View Changed - Columns

Hi, Recently the view within Office 2016 pro has changed on its own across all my devices. The reset View is greyed out too. I've tried messing about with the changing the view options but nothing makes go back to default. Note: this isn't specific to one devices. The change has happened across all my devices. The Email is office 365 and i do use a Microsoft account with OneDrive etc. 

This is what is should be, and this is how it is on the sent items!

instead its like this.. making my email previews crowded. This is set for my inbox.

Reset is disable in both locations..

Ive also messed about in "Other settings and changed the Columns but i cant get it back to default.

?? Any advice would be really appreciated.

outlook 2013

I am using outlook 2013. I bought a new laptop with windows 10 and after downloading my outlook 2013 a guess I did a mistake when trying to connect to our exchange account because now I am stuck. I just cant reset and it will not logon anything. It is just saying


1)

there is no connetion to the exchange server

2)

I can only change ONE thing - that´s my mail adress

3)

And if I press OK og Cancel I get a message about an .ost file which is not supported or correct format or whatever.

I tried to uninstall the hole office pacakage and then install everything again, but this time I did not get even the oppertunity to do any setup - It rememberd all my settings.

Outlook - Cannot manually configue servers, ports, etc, for @Verizon.net account

I'm running Outlook Version 2002 (Build 12527.20278 Click to run).

I have a Verizon e-Mail account that I had for more than 15 years and recently it stopped working. I deleted the existing account in Outlook based upon the assumption that I could create a re-create account.

When I attempted to create a New account I was unable to manually enter the servers, ports, etc. Using the Advanced options (Let me set up my account manually) and clicking on theConnect button, and selecting either POP or IMAP, entering the password and clicking on the Connect button.   A window asking me to re-enter the password id displayed.

The incoming server "pop.mail.yahoo.com" is incorrect.  The correct incoming server is "pop.verizon.net." I cannot edit the Server. The something went wrong window pops up before I can make a selection MS Outlook closes and restarts.  The new e-Mail account was not created.  If the new e-Mail does not exist I cannot access the "Server Settings" for an e-Mail account that does not exist in Outlook.

How can I setup the @verizon.net e-Mail account in Outlook that requires the manual setup of the servers, ports, etc.

PS: Another problem I noticed when trying to solve this problem is that the default e-Mail account cannot be changed.

Unblock potentially unsafe ITEMS in mailbox folder

Hi,

I get this error "Outlook blocked access to this potentially unsafe item" when I try to open an URL type ITEM in a mailbox folder.

To be precise, I know how to unblock "unsafe" FILES (like .cer or .exe or .pdf) by adding the Level1Remove REG key. But this is not a file but an ITEM. Like a webpage (https://www.bla.com) .
PS: These ITEMS are in the mailbox folder, not in an email.

Office 365 Backup

We have several Mac computers on our workstation. We have been dependent on our mails for our daily works. Of course we have Outlook under Office 365 edition. Most of the mails are archived under Local Folders. Is there anyway we can backup all these mails?

Receive duplicated emails starting from this Monday.

I don't know why, starting from this Monday, My outlook 2016 always deliver a duplicate email into my Inbox.

I have checked I didn't have the same account configured on any other device.

Any other things that I can check?
