This is sort of unfriendly for me. Can we revert it back?
Or I have to go back to a lower version of build?

Hi Guys,
Some of our users are encountering "Could not be updated" when viewing a room calendar.
Is this related to permission? If yes, how can I check the permission of the room calendar?
i had problems with synching my folders to my IMAP-Server account, so i tried to
set the "root folder path" of my imap account to "INBOX" as mentioned on many
support forums, but no success.
then i set the folder path back to nothing as it was before i started, with the horrible
effect that all my folders are gone now!
so now i have a local .ost file with a size of about 8GB but no folder (except the standard
folders of outlook) are displayed. i tried to use a .ost to .pst tool, but this also shows only
the structure without my personal folders!
how to get rid of that problem???
Hi!
Can anyone explain, how can i add 2 exchange account to my outlook profile:
1. My mailbox automatically connects to exchange 2013 server using autodiscover with no additional steps.
2. I manually add second account in outlook by - adding email account, i enter the second-email@exchange2013.com, after that i close outlook.
3. Opening outlook the password prompt to second-email account appears... and i need to use save password checkbox (and store password on local pc), because i dont'want to enter password every time i start outlook.
4. After closing outlook i see another password promt, which asks the password for MAIN profile with 'second-email@exchange2013.com' account auto filled as login. By the way, there is no such step in outook 2013!
Is there another way to use multiple accounts? Maybe i need to configure something on my exchange server?
Hello
I have windows-10 pro. The account I use for windows login has admin privileges. I have some email accounts defined in outlook. I am now logging on to windows with another account which also has the admin privileges. When I open the outlook I have to reenter
all the email accounts and wait for the refresh to complete.
Is there a way I can import all the emails profile ( data and emails) from one windows account to other.
When receiving and email from someone externally who has their font set at 'MS PGothic', it becomes contagious and the font then changes my 'Calibri' replies to 'MS PGothic'.
Let me break it down...
I receive an email from someone with 'MS PGothic' font
I do a reply in 'Calibri'
when i check my sent item, i notice my 'Calibri' font has changed to 'MS PGothic'
How do i stop this as it is important that we maintain consistency in our emails.
Thanks!
(FYI I've tried deleting the NormalEmail.Dotm template but no luck)
The message pane in outlook is too wide always have to use bar to see other part of message. Does not happen on all messages

Hey,
Here's my issue; when I setup my account on Outlook, my folders appeared, but no emails inside. According to Outlook, though, "All folders are up to date" and it's "Connected", but I know both statements are false. When I try to send myself something through the app, the email never sends, and doesn't appear in my web inbox or outbox. When I try to add another account and profile, I get an "unable to connect right now" error message.
Also, when I try to follow other tutorials, either the problem isn't solved, or I get stuck eventually because navigating Outlook's settings is an actual Kafkaesque nightmare. I'm not sorry, this has been a real pain, and I haven't been getting any help so far.
Options Details: I just set up Outlook with an @live.ca email, automatic setup to not have to toy around with servers too much. I can tell you that the profile is an "Exchange ActiveSync". I can also tell you that I've already tried referbushing the .ost file in AppData, to no avail. In "Server Settings", I get "eas.outlook.com" as a server and no other relevant options, other than my username and password.
Playing around in the Send / Recieve Tab: When I check "Show Progress", I get that the "Sending" and "Sending / Recieving" task actually get completed, without any errors, any time I boot Outlook or go in and out of "Work Offline".
Version details: I'm runnng Office 365, Student ed, sporting the 64 bits version if that helps.
Thanks.
Hi,
can we change notification sound to any wav (of at least non default) in Outlook 365 (corporate in cloud), as we do for local Outlook?
In settings I found just the option for enabling/disabling ...
Thx.

Hi, I use windows 10 on a home based computer and don't use any exchange servers (as far as I am aware- single computer) and I am now coming up with the following message - Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Cannot open the outlook window. The set of folders cannot be opened. The attempt to log on to Microsoft Exchange has failed. Can anyone explain why this is happening. Thank you.
I have sent a email to the email address "xxx@outlook.com" , just would like to know if I can re-call this email after sent ?
Just would like to confirm I have sent the email to the outlook.com , this is not our managed email server .
thanks
See attached picture. Follow the numbers. With the top box of #5checked, email gets deleted from the INBOX, but it does not go to the Deleted Items folder. They seem to just disappear, both in outlook and on our Smartermail server.
When youuncheck #5 top box, email that you delete DOES go to the deleted mail folder, but it willnot leave the inbox (which is a FAR more annoying “feature”)
This has happened on multiple computers. I ass-u-me this is a known issue, but I do not see any solutions other than reverting to Outlook 2013.
Anyone? Thanks! MB
Hi,
I get this error "Outlook blocked access to this potentially unsafe item" when I try to open an URL type ITEM in a mailbox folder.
To be precise, I know how to unblock "unsafe" FILES (like .cer or .exe or .pdf) by adding the Level1Remove REG key. But this is not a file but an ITEM. Like a webpage (https://www.bla.com) .
PS: These ITEMS are in the mailbox folder, not in an email.
Many thanks for help on this.
Thomas.
We have a user reporting that they could not launch Outlook on a new replacement system. When Outlook starts, the splash screen is displayed setting up Outlook for the first time and begins loading settings until it disappears/crashes. This can be reproduced on multiple machines as follows:
The mailbox has been moved to a new database, and mailbox repair requests have been successfully run against it.
The odd thing is that 64-bit Outlook has zero issues connecting to this mailbox. Every 32-bit Outlook we've tested with has crashed, and every 64-bit we've tested with has worked. Any ideas with what could be causing the crash? We captured 2 different crash codes below.

Hello MS Office Gurus - Our branding is changing and we are trying to update Signature block in Outlook. The signature contains links and images. The image is coming as white block. I tried both the format HTML and Richtext. Also, signature in an email when we read on mobile Outlook app and Mail app is messed too. I have read https://support.office.com/en-us/article/create-and-add-a-signature-to-messages-8ee5d4f4-68fd-464a-a1c1-0e1c80bb27f2?redirectSourcePath=%252fen-us%252farticle%252fLearn-more-about-creating-signatures-in-Outlook-fec3707b-934d-4921-82d2-5896dff94532&ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US but it doesn't shows images. We are using Office 2016. The images expanded too.
WITH white spaces
Also, Is there any way IT team update all the user's in the firm's signatures? User may not be able to set by themselves correctly.
Please guide.
Best Regards,
Khushi
