I have two for me strange issues. We have mail via Exchange Server and have discovered some users running Windows 7 and XP (mostly W7) and office 2003, that in Outlook if an administrator have logged in to the computer (via netsupport), then it sometimes happens that the user when he logs in again (via roaming profile)s that he needs to configure outlook again.
The original mail profile is no longer the selected one, and has been changed sometimes to a backup profile. If I delete all backup profiles, so only the correct profile is back it will still ask for a profile to be created. The only option so I not have to enter all server/user details again is to set the mail profile "to choose profile". Of course I would like this to work automatically.
1. How can I make sure the original profile is working?
2. How can I avoid backup profiles to be created?
