Business Contact Manager database doubles in size after deletion

Hi there,

I'm new to BCM 2010 for Outlook 2010 but I have been playing around with it for some time now and before I put it in production I just wanted to check if something is right.

The other day I linked/tracked a series of contacts and loaded historical emails so that the users will be able to see related historic communication for each selected contact / account from within BCM. After this step completed, the size of the BCM database was 175mb.

However, I have now decided to unlink/untrack all contacts and alsopermanently deleted all Communication History from under Business Records but the database immediately doubled in size to350mb! Is this normal?! Do I have to run any tool or command to fix the database? Please note I am connecting to the databaseremotely to another machine on the LAN where that machine is hostingSQL Server 2005 Express.

My concern is that, if BCM is duplicating the space it takes in the database for records after deletion, the database will soon be at its maximum capacity without having any actual valid records in it.Is this a bug?

Thanks in advance for your reply.
Tony
