Hello Team,
We are using Office 2016 on windows 10. The issue is with Outlook 2016 where there is a presence unknown from the sender of email.
If there are 5 people in the mail, then all of them will come up with the skype presence status. Only the sender of the email will have presence unknown and a blank status icon.
If I send out an email to 5 people, then all of them will have a skype status in outlook except mine and it will come as presence unknown.
This works fine on windows 7 with outlook 2010.
If we check for that email address in skype, the correct status comes up. If we try sending email to that sender, the correct presence comes up.
If we reply to the sender, the status comes as presence unknown.
This is happening for all users in the domain.
What has been done and still the problem exist
* installed the latest patches for July 2018 for office 2016 and outlook 2016.
* Already followed and checked the display and its set on 100% : https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3000421/outlook-2016-or-2013-email-messages-do-not-display-presence-icons
* Tried steps mentioned in https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/6a725a2e-425d-40ba-b482-01aef5186f3d/presence-icon-missing-in-outlook-2013-and-2016
* Unchecked and rechecked skype for business addin .
* Created the registry key under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\AddIns for UcAddin.LyncAddin.1 key and dword value 3 for LoadBehavior
I don't know when this stopped to work. If there is a hotfix for this issue, then please let me know.
